This is week 2 of our Myths & Legends campaign. The response so far has been enormous. Our Myths & Legends card last week has been shared many times and was seen by around 4,000 people so far.

4,000 sounds good doesn’t it? How good it would sound to have just half of it, let’s say 2,000 members? We could put an immense amount of pressure on Ryanair and certainly make a stand. We can do it together! Please carry on supporting FRUnite by sharing our campaign materials and spreading the word among your colleagues!

 

Message of the week:

Your rights are written by law makers and must be respected! Your right for representation is included in the Employment Rights Act 1996 and the ACAS Code of Practice. These can be read and downloaded here.

It is your legal right to be a trade union member. As a member you are entitled to have a union rep with you at your disciplinary and grievance meetings. If your chosen rep is not available it is your right to request the meeting to be re-scheduled (within 5 working days from the original date). It is your right to join a strike organised by your employer’s recognised trade union. Unite the Union will never leave you penniless. During a strike they pay you a tax free daily allowance.
